Ukrainian legislation imposes very high demands on manufacturers of purification equipment, in particular in the field of groundwater protection.Fat degradation products are a serious threat to the environment. Separators of fats and starches are intended for purification of industrial waters with a high content of fats. The discharge of wastewater of this type makes it difficult for the treatment processes to proceed and has a negative effect on the proper functioning of the sewer systems. These devices are flow-through. This means that the separation of aqueous oils and medium-stable emulsions from the remaining effluents takes place mechanically during the passage of the wastewater stream through the separator. Due to the specificity of the mechanism of action, the separators are also capable of partially delaying the easily falling suspended suspension, which collects in the sludge collection chamber at the bottom of the device.Provided proper selection of the nominal capacity and with the passage of the nominal flow, the working surface of the separator is sufficient for large drops of fat to rise to the surface and merge into a uniform layer. That is why equipment it should use where there is a particularly high risk of this kind of pollution, and where the separation of vegetable and animal fats and other oily substances from other wastewaters is a necessary condition. service stations at motorways;
manufacturing enterprises of the food industry;
Drains containing significant amounts of fat in a form that cannot be separated (emulsified form) from places such as dairies, cheese factories, fish dressing shops, etc., equipped only with sinks or “thickeners for liquid waste”, can be effectively cleaned, in fat separators only under certain conditions. These drains can need additional treatment. If the wastewater contains stable solid particles, such as waste from the fish processing plant, which can be easily removed mechanically, it is not necessary to use a septic to clean such waters, but the inlet of the fat separator must be protected by a special sieve to trap such solid particles.
